Collaroy Beach Wedding at Long Reef Golf Club

August 3rd was beautiful Tonya and Kieran’s special day! They had their gorgeous beach wedding at Long Reef Golf Club, Collaroy Beach and it was a lovely drive that took just over an hour for me.

When I got out of the car, I was blown away by its beauty and yup the wind too! I got asked to do a reading at the ceremony and what an honour it was for me to do so.

On my way to the wedding, it felt like the longest drive as I was feeling quite nervous since I haven’t done any public speaking for a while. Being a perfectionist myself, I just wanted everything to be perfect, especially for my lovely friend’s wedding. As always, it was fine in the end.

Even though the day was a bit overcast, I’ve always heard from photographers that it is a positive sign for good photos. Now how about we let the photos do the talking.

The ceremony ended up being inside as it was super duper windy at the beach. A combination of a lovely floral arch + rose petals on the floor still made the cutest altar for the couple.

Thanks to Ryan from Tailored Fit Photography, with his awesome skill the bridal party also managed to get some beautiful photos before the rain started pouring!

Here’s a photo of us girls all glammed up! I really loved how small and intimate the wedding was.

We sat next to a few funny people who we made really great conversations with. Super fun dance party. Beautiful father-daughter dance. Definitely a night to remember!

P.S. I got accepted to One Fine Day Wedding Fairs! I still can’t believe it and I had to excuse myself to reply their email during dinner! It was just all so exciting! Time to start planning 😀
