Now that you have settled on a date and found that perfect venue, it’s time to get started on those wedding invitations! There are so many wedding invitation options online to choose from so where do you even start? Before we do anything, just take a deep breath… Getting your wedding invitations done doesn’t have to be stressful.
In this blog post, you will find out how you can easily get started with your wedding invitation.
3 Steps to Getting Started with Your Wedding Invitations:
1, Get Your Bridal Party Involved
Perhaps you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed with everything that’s been going on. Wedding planning can get a bit crazy if you do it all on your own. That’s why you have a bridal party! These girls who you have handpicked are here to help you along the way, not just to hold your wedding dress when you need to pee on the day lol Make sure you let them help you…
Ask them for help, whether it be finding ideas for wedding theme, engagement photographer, invitation ideas, etc. The more you communicate with them, the better they can help you with your wedding planning!

Tell them how you want your wedding to be like. Are you having a particular theme or style? Beach, rustic, vintage, country, modern, fairytale, greenery? The list is endless. Tell them a little bit about your wedding so they can help you to come up with some ideas.
2, Search for A Wedding Stationery Vendor
Once you’ve settled on your favourite wedding theme, you can start searching for a wedding stationery vendor that can help you create those gorgeous paper goods. Find something that you and your person like. More importantly, look for someone who you can communicate your ideas with and can help you make your dream come true.
At For the Love of Stationery, you can create personalised photo wedding invitations that your friends and family will love and want to keep for a long time! If it sounds like something you would want for your wedding, make sure you check out our collection.

3, Gather Your Wedding Details Together
Once you have an idea of what kind of wedding invitation you want, it’s time to get those wedding information on paper. A few nitty gritty you may want on your wedding invitation include:
- Your names
- Your wedding date and time
- Your wedding and reception location
- Include a dress code
- Are you allowing children to join on the day?
- Your wishing well or wedding registry
- Your wedding website
- Your RSVP date and contact details
- Any parking or accomodation info
- Request for dietary requirements
It’s always helpful to get someone to proofread your wedding invitation wording before you get them printed. Your wedding stationery vendor should also be able to give you some suggestions if you need any.
